TRUTH True/False, Good/Bad, Heisenberg's Dilemma Religion/Natural Science Relationship - Answer to Heisenberg's Dilemma
What is truth? Is truth knowable? If we know the truth, must we hide in in the name of political correctness? Is the question about truth simply inappropriate in the academic and or business world and better left in the realm of religion and belief? As Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger might say, it is imperative, for the sake of the world, to overcome the Heisenberg's Dilemma and find truth. And in order to do so, reason and religion must come together, without merging into each other. Short of an act of God, in a free society, truth can find no other way to prevail than simply through the power of persuasion.
Seeking the truth - a framework, based on principle discussed in Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger's Truth and Tolerance
It is said that a free society is a relativistic society, the notion that no one can claim to know the right way forward, and only on this condition can it be and remain free & open ended. Perhaps this is the reason why even bringing up the issue in a public setting can be frowned upon. On the other hand. the above framework can be used for those seeking the truth from a philosophical or theological perspective or a combination thereof. In a free society, truth cannot prevail other than through the power of persuasion. That is, persuasion must compete and prevail in the marketplace of ideas.
