Entertainment and Technology Lecture at Saddleback

Viejo, CA – The
Division of Fine Arts & Media Technology’s Entertainment and
Theatre Technology Program at Saddleback College will present
Guest Lecturer Karl Neblett, Business Integration and Planning Manager
for the Disneyland Resort, on March 29th from
1:30-2:30 pm in BGS 252. This informative lecture titled Ride Vehicle Cycling: What Keeps
the Roller Coaster on Track? involves
the process of ride vehicle maintenance, show project support and
careers in the Amusement Park Industry. Mr. Neblett oversees and
implements programs for manufacturing and scheduled maintenance for
Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. The lecture is
free of charge and open to the public. Saddleback
College Entertainment and Theatre Technology certificate program
provides students with career preparation for entry-level positions in
the professional entertainment industry. A comprehensive
intensive two-year program, Entertainment and Theatre Technology
offers students the opportunity to explore fundamentals of a wide
variety of practical career opportunities. Technical Theatre
students participate in the hands-on experience of creating all of the
technical elements of the Department of Theatre Arts productions as
well as other live events on the Saddleback College campus. Saddleback College is located at 28000 Marguerite
Pkwy in Mission Viejo, just east of Interstate 5 at the Avery Parkway
exit. Parking is available in Lot 9. Located
