jazz! David Benoit, Hiroshima , Greg Adams, and Evelyn Champagne are just
a few of the biggest stars in contemporary jazz that will converge on
Mission Viejo for the annual KSBR Birthday Bash Jazz Festival. The Bash,
which returns to the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park on Sunday, May 30th,
is the major fundraising event for KSBR-FM, Mission Viejo’s own
community radio station at Saddleback College . A total of more than 40
jazz artists are scheduled to play at the unique event, in which jazz
headliners often leave their own bands behind to play with each other.
Because of contractual obligations, many of the biggest stars cannot be

more fun and surprising. Great jazz performers who can be announced
include: Brian Bromberg, Chieli Minucci, Dan Siegel, Richard Smith,
Freddie Fox, Max Bennett, Blake Aaron, Freddie Angels

Mission Viejo, CA – After being benched for two years, the Saddleback Civic Light Opera (SCLO) is back at home plate and ready to hit a grand slam homerun with the production of Damn Yankees. This endearing musical comedy, based on the novel, The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, by Douglas Wallop, and music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, hits the McKinney Theatre stage on July 16th. Mission Viejo , CA – If its Memorial Day
weekend, it’s time to hang out on the Village Green and listen to great
Because of contractual obligations, many of the biggest stars cannot be
announced until they actually step on stage, which makes the event even
more fun and surprising. Great jazz performers who can be announced
include: Brian Bromberg, Chieli Minucci, Dan Siegel, Richard Smith,
Freddie Fox, Max Bennett, Blake Aaron, Freddie Angels

We took our cocker spaniel, seven year old
Coto Lady, for a walk to the new Yocham-Varo Dog Park this afternoon to
verify whether what we had expected all along had materialized or whether
we had been using tunnel vision – sad to say that we have been right all
along – the park is a total waste of money for many reasons, however,
the one mostly cited by the Village residents is not one of them:
“Unfortunately the ugly dog park is destroying the beautiful passive
park area below Alondra,” reads the June 2010 Village newsletter. For
starters, the park is right next to the Coto Polo Arena – another venue
subsidized by the CZ Master Association residents and mostly supported by
the Village residents – the ones who enjoy the Coto Life Style and pay
nothing for it – that is, the tail of the community trying to bite the
hand that is feeding it. Associa

Laguna Woods, CA- I had to laugh when I first
got the announcement about Associa buying PCM because the information came
from chatter at a FOV meeting. PCM doesn’t even have the grace to inform
boards of directors let alone give any real information to people who
actually OWN the properties they manage. Does this mean that Daddy Disbro
and Uncle Jeffy are taking their money and running? Is poor little sad
sack Donny going to be left just holding the bag? IT’S YOUR HOME. Coto

The CZ Masters association’s misguided
decision to open the Yocham/Varo Dog Park so lazy pet owners can simply
let their pets roam free in a contained environment is yielding unintended
consequences: For starters, while financially the decision is bone-headed,
the real intent is to use smoke and mirrors to convince Rancho Santa
Margarita (RSM) City Hall that it would be getting a good deal by annexing
the community, even though residents overwhelmingly refuse to pay
additional taxes Coto

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA - That great
sucking sound you hear comes from all the jobs leaving California for
states such as Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Texas. All thanks to the union,
lobbyists and thousands of parasitic bureaucracies, such as LAFCO, which
are sucking the economic life out of the state. Yet, as LAFCO postpones
action on Coto Cityhood, CZ Master Association director Bob Varo continues
with the same tired argument, without any substantiation, that Coto de
Caza would get better service from the county, including Orange County
Sheriff Department services. This at a time when the crime in the
community is an all time high. Coto

AM What part of NO, do parasitic bureaucracies
such as LAFCO, do not understand? While the state is broke amidst a
financial tsunami and there is an exodus of business leaving the state for
greener pastures in Arizona, Utah and Nevada, some politicians want to
increase taxes. Other parasitic bureaucracies such as LAFCO and the CZ
board continue to spend taxpayer money to push for cityhood.

AM To the Board Members. The information that PCM
had been bought by another company, Associa, came to the ears of this
community via chit chat at a club meeting. This is completely
unprofessional and wrong. Kathryn Freshley, treasurer of the Third Mutual
board constantly prefaces her statements with “in my corporate
experience”…….well, she’s pretty silent right now and she’s
usually, in my opinion, incorrect when she starts to speak with that line.
However, in MY corporate experience this is how the information about the
sale would have come about: Laguna

wrong century and the wrong part of the universe. Pause to consider for a
single moment that if this is happening today to a person living here then
it has happened repeatedly in the past and will happen even to you . Mr.
Storage is the Community's General manager and Mr. Hart is the head of
security. Both are employed by the community property management company,
PCM. Golden Rain Foundation (GRF) Board members are voted into office by
your housing mutual boards. You have the power to rectify this situation.
