Karl Rove, the Architect is in, and so are the reviews, from the usual suspects with the usual opinions:

Karl Rove, widely credited with architecting the George W. Bush’s presidency is in Southern California to promote his book Courage and Consequence, where he recounts his controversial journey through Republican politics and into the White House.  The ink is not dry yet, and Rove’s books are already eliciting reaction from the usual suspects:  “Sometimes, publishers make mistakes. Case in point: The inexplicable decision to classify Karl Rove's vindictive political memoir, "Courage and Consequences," as "nonfiction." With its myriad fabrications, falsehoods and outright fantasies, the book was clearly more intended for fans of fiction,” opine the Salon Staff

Even the New York Observer’s reaction with a misleading headline “Karl Rove Takes No Crap From 'Swamp Fever' Victims” Reid Pillifant writes: “On the back cover of Karl Rove's new book--Courage and Consequence, --there's a picture of him whispering into President Bush's ear, which is basically what he spent seven years doing.” On the other hand,  the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem simply writes “Karl Rove flatly rejects the notion that US President George W. Bush decided to go to war in Iraq at the behest of Israel …
The Architect Karl Rove

......debunks several theories which critics have offered on why the president targeted the regime in Baghdad.  Among them are: That he was doing the bidding of Israel; he was teaching the Arab world a lesson; or he was finishing what his father started in the first Gulf War. "None of these is true," writes Rove.”

The Architect served as Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush from 2000–2007 and Deputy Chief of Staff from 2004–2007. He now writes a weekly op-ed for The Wall Street Journal and is a Newsweek columnist and contributor to Fox News

Mr. Rove is schedule to be the featured speaker at a March 31st luncheon hosted by San Bernardino County Supervisor Brad Mitzelfelt, on  $200-a-plate event in Victorville to support the supervisor’s re-election bid.   Other schedule appearances include a stop at Borders in Thousand Oaks at 12:00 PM March 29,  and at 06:00PM at the American Voices Series in Beverly Hills. On March 31, Rove is scheduled to stop by Warwick’s in La Joya at 06:00 PM
