Gas”(Fraud) Warnings in Laguna Woods’ “Mines”

We
all know that life is full of surprises – some good,
some not so good.
The really good ones usually bring lasting joy,
or at least temporary happiness.
The other ones are often not really
“surprises,” but merely the result of ignoring
what we already knew to be true.
Recent news reports from West Virginia bear
that out, as witness of the tragic deaths of 29 miners
in an explosion deep in a giant coal mine’s
darkness. Why?
Because
multiple red-flag warnings of safety problems related
to methane gas leaks and other dangers were filed with
the proper authorities, yet none of the required
safety corrections were made, nor were the fines paid
by the top-tier corporate officials / weasels!
Right? Well,
here’s the ‘metaphorical link’ to Mr. Mike
Curtis, a “miner” in Laguna Woods, California, who
died of lung cancer on Thursday, April 8, 2010 A.D. at
age 62.
Metaphorically
speaking, it appears that methane gas has been
leaking, if not pouring, out of Janet Price’s PCM
Finance Department for more than a decade.
Mike Curtis sensed it, almost immediately,
while voluntarily “mining” for truthful
information in the dark recesses of PCM’s
“underground” Finance Department.
Mike soon learned of the dangerous personal
risks of his quest for the truth in the midst of an
expanding fraud, i.e. PCM’s Bonu$ $cheme!
But
he would not be deterred by fear.
So when Mike raised ‘red flags’ on issues
of fraud and waste, PCM corporate officials /
directors launched their relentless and malicious
attacks to silence his credible voice. They determined to take his security clearance, his job, his
career, his health, and his family away from him. In essence, they conspired to destroy Mr. Mike Curtis.
Why would they do such a terribly cruel thing
to such an honorable man?
Huh?
I
firmly believe it was so that PCM Corp. (our agent and
our management company for decades) could maintain
control over the financial / real property assets
which actually belong to the seniors / Homeowner’s
Associations, in TRUST, since 1964!
But this scheme must ultimately fail.
Because PCM Corp. cannot silence everyone in
the Village. Not
even those in “Friends” of the Village.
PCM Corp. never could silence Mike
Curtis. Why?
Because his courage overcame their cruelty and
his diligent vigilance exposed their rampant (some say
“runaway”) corruption; all in order to ensure the
seniors’ safety / survival!
And
now, even though Mike is no longer with us in body,
his spirit lives on as a beacon of hope and a point of
light for any patriot who cares to seek, find and
hold fast to the truth.
Maybe that’s why the PCM corporate pinheads
are trying desperately to cover over their
decades-long fraud…
and the waste… and their abuse of our senior citizens! How? By paying
yet another $100,000+ annual fee / bonus to KPMG’s
audit partners who are still plotting evil with CFO
Janet Price, while eating See’s candy on the secret
second floor, (the same floor from which United Director
Mike Curtis was banned.)
All of them wearing gas masks, in order to keep
the conspiracy (‘of fools’) alive in the midst of
clouds of methane gas, i.e. fraud and corruption! (Who is trustworthy enough to “audit” the auditors?)
If we don’t put a stop to this obscene
foolishness now, maybe we deserve the
“surprise” of an 8.8 “ethical earthquake.”
In this once brave and free American
community.
Finally,
just a reminder for all patriots:
America would not be the land of the free if it
were not the home of the brave!
I think that’s true.
If so, how brave are you?
Maybe not as brave as Mike Curtis; but
hopefully, just as honorable!
Ask yourself an ethical question – which side
of the ‘fault line of fraud’ are you on?
Are you sure?
Once you decide, tell someone you TRUST
your honest answer.
So that you too may be a ‘point of light.’
No matter how much darkness seems to surround
you today…or tonight!

new General Manager; albeit still a P.C.M.
employee. But what about the return of
monies the departing, as well as current
manager and staff spent on personal

Several PCM employees were elected as Ex
Officios in violation of the by Laws. The
four boards (GRF, United, Third and Fifty)
of Leisure World passed a resolution to
elect officers to their boards as Ex
Officios who are not homeowners of Leisure
World/Laguna Woods Village thus violating
their corporations by laws. GRF, United and
Thirds by laws number 6.2 specifically
states: The authorized number of Directors
shall be eleven (11) all of whom shall be
Mutual Members who are in good standing and
resident in a Mutual. Number 6.2.2. Conflict
of Interest states: No Mutual Member shall
serve on the Board of Directors who is a
Director, Stockholder, Officer, Employee, or
Partner of any other organization, whether
private, public, or governmental, where such
dual status would create a material and
adverse conflict of interest or materially
and adversely impact said Mutual Member's
ability to serve on this Corporation's Board
of Directors and number 6.2.5 Ineligible. If
Employee states: No employee of this
Corporation or Managing Agent may be a
Director.
