Sweeney Todd in Concert Coming to Saddleback College

Mission
Viejo , CA . The Saddleback Symphony continues its
tradition of presenting great American Music by
performing the music of composer Stephen Sondheim.
Directed by Carmen Cortez Dominguez with accompaniment
by Dr. Norman Weston, the Orchestra is joined by
well-known soloists and award-winning performers
including Paul Kehler as Sweeney Todd, Allison Appleby
as Mrs. Lovett, Nona Watson as Johanna, Joe Donohoe as
Anthony, Dennis Kenney as Tobias, John Huntington as
Judge Turpin, Scott Farthing as Beadle Bamford and
Christopher Carlisle as Pirelli. Don’t miss
this thrilling music about the Demon Barber of Fleet
Street. Performances are Saturday, May 16th
at 8pm and Sunday, May 17th at 3pm in the
McKinney Theatre.

are $15 general and $10 students/seniors and can be

The
Music Department at Saddleback College is a place
where students of all ages and abilities, instructors
who love teaching and performing, guest artists from
around the world, and community audiences come
together to develop their understanding of music and
themselves as creative beings.
Saddleback
College is located at 28000 Marguerite Pkwy in Mission
Viejo , just east of Interstate 5 at the Avery Parkway
exit. Parking is available in Lot 12. Take
Avery Parkway to Marguerite Parkway turn left to the
third traffic light, which is Saddleback’s
Marguerite entrance. Turn right into the campus and
take the second left to “ Theatre Circle ,”
turning right into Lot 12.
