The Contextual Ladder

In the piece titled Jacob’s Ladder - Confessions of a Former Skeptic, by John Locke, the author makes references to “a rambling e-mail addressed to Pamela Grundke of Resident’s Voice, that Cynthia Conners was an angel”.

To provide some context, last December (2007) at a special meeting held by the Third Board to depose Stanley Feldstein from the presidency, Ms Grundke along with other residents approached the new president Cynthia (Sinthia) Conners to express disgust and dismay of their actions. Ms. Grundke told her that she “..was horrified by her misrepresentation of who she was, and the lies she had told to the people of Residents Voice….? Ms. Conners said then, she was the person who initiated Stanley Feldstein’s political assassination.

Once Mr. Feldstein was removed as president and Ms. Conners was nominated, she implied her nomination was a complete surprise, but then proceeded to read from a prepared text and her speech taking some twenty minutes or so …so much for being unprepared!

After the Grundke/Conners dialogue, Ms. Grundke became involved in a conversation with Delsie Zuzak, far away from Conners. Ms. Grundke was then approached by Rev. Juhan, who extended his hand while proclaiming that “…now it was time to go forward with peace and joy.” However. Ms Grundke was not ready for piece and joy, responding that “ ..there would be no peace in our community because of the outrageous actions of the directors, and his wife Ms. Conners was totally responsible.”

After that, Ms Grundke describes Juhan as “…unglued, his fists clenched, his eyes glared and he proceeded to rant and spew. He said that God hated me and was against me and that he would remind me of that every time he saw me. He was scary, I thought he would completely loose it he was so angry. ….. I just walked away. I saw him walk up to Sinthia pounding his fist and pointing at me..”

Finally, the Juhan/Grundke confrontation ended up with an apology to Ms. Grundke, where he compares himself to “Saint Peter defending our Savior Jesus Christ on the night of his arrest.”

The letter concludes as follows: “God is our judge. God is my judge. God is your judge. I am married to a very holy woman. She is above reproach. She is above judgment by me or you or anyone else. I can give you or any or your followers 500 to 1000 references for you to check out on her Christian, personal, military, legal, educational or any other background. She is neither the devil nor the Second Coming of Christ. She is simply the woman who has made me and my children the luckiest family in the world, and has made the Third Mutual a very lucky group of people. Peace, and blessings to you.”
