Board on Official Notice
TO:
United Board:
About a month ago, the official "United Membership List" was provided to me by Bill Hart. I believe it is dated April 29th. This is being used to verify all signatures on the Removal (or recall) Petition, so that the official verification process should take only a few minutes to complete when the petition is submitted.
We will be completing the collection of more than 5% of the United members this week, and the signed
Petition
for Removal
along with a verified list members signing, extracted from the Membership List, will be delivered to the United Board President and others this coming Monday, June 1st.
On Wednesday, June 3rd, United has our Agenda Planning Meeting. We expect the
"Petition
for Removal
of United Directors" to be put on the Agenda for the June United Board Meeting, along with a resolution authorizing contracting with TruBallot for creation of ballot packs, mailings by June 26th, and counting of returned ballots and certification of the Removal Election. The cost should be roughly
equivalent to the actual cost of the last two United elections in which we have used TruBallot. The resolution should be included with the Agenda Package authorizing the recall election and naming a Board
representative to work with TruBallot. I would recommend either Arlene or Bevan to be the coordinator (or maybe together) and be the point of contact with TruBallot.
The Board does not have a say on the Petition
for Removal
- the removal voting process must be conducted promptly.
Please accept this as notice of our intentions and desires. Also, please inform me at once, as a Director on the United Board, of any
obstacles or conditions that would prevent the above plan from proceeding as outlined.
I might add; please do not attempt to delay this recall through some stupid gaming of the system - it will not sit well with the vast majority of United members who are outraged with the lack of Board action to get our money back from PCM and also are following PCM's recommendations for higher 2010 assessments.

our minds, the rationale brings up other questions,
which we posed to the United Mutual, such as since
(United Director) Maxine McIntosh has blocked
our email address, “Is
it not counter-productive for a community to spend so
much on Public Relations when boards simply cut the
press off because they do not like
to answer the tough questions, such as the case of Ms.
Maxine McIntosh?”, or "...
in a separate case, when PCM
employees felt threatened by a 73-year
old resident, a restraining order was
filed. Over
the past nine months, has PCM kept the United Mutual
board informed of potential liability over Mr. Curtis
alleged threatening behavior toward PCM
employees? If not, why is it that a
restraining order was not filed against Mr. Curits by
PCM as done with Ms. Skogen? Is Mr.
Curtis less intimidating to PCM employees than Ms.
Skogen?
