- Another Poorly Designed Survey With an Devious
Motive Posted
Thursday, March 12, 2009, 1:05 AM Dear
CZ Board Members: Once again the CZ Board has
sent out another poorly
designed survey. CZ Board Members when
surveys are designed, all possible responses must be
included in the multiple choice answers.
Usually, a N/A should be included for those answering
a question as Not Applicable. When you
don’t get it just right the data is worthless.
Also, most members may not be aware that you want to
do a special assessment to construct a building at the
old Welcome Home Center . If you are
planning to use the results about wanting Keystone
closer as justification for that special assessment,
then why didn’t you pose the question as follows? Would
you pay a special assessment to build an office
building in Coto so that our property management
company can reside within our gates? Yes
No I
guarantee you that if that specific question was asked
that the majority of members would respond with a NO
after three dues increases in five years.
Can we please stop playing games with these surveys?
The motives have been clear from the very first survey. Make sure there is enough cover for the past increase, and justification for yet one more, while the reserves are depleted and subsidized programs expand – as in the expansion of the horse trails. Surveys designed to justify decisions that have been made anyway are a complete waste of time. And, it is easy to see what the Board is attempting to do with these surveys. Does the CZ Board think our members are stupid? JM RELATED STORIES
