A Contemporary Christmas Carol Premier

The
Department of Theatre Arts at Saddleback College will
be presenting what it calls the world
premiere of A Contemporary Christmas
Carol, on December 5-14 in the Studio Theatre.
This
modern version, where Tiny Time is a girl, is adapted
by Mark McQuown from Charles Dickens’ A
Christmas Carol and directed by Jonelle Allen.
Elgin Scroge, an extremely rich and famous Hollywood
agent is cheap and doesn’t believe in Christmas.
His niece, Tina, is a talented ice-skater who is
struck with a debilitating disease that requires an
operation or she will be crippled for life. Her
family desperately tries every avenue to make money
during Christmas-time to help their daughter. Don’t
miss this world premiere but hurry because tickets are
selling fast.
Dates:
December 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 at 8m and December 6,
7, 12, 14 at 3pm.
Tickets can be purchased by calling (949) 582-4656
(noon-4 weekdays. Prices are $12 general; $11
students/seniors/Angels; $6 with Saddleback ASB
card. Saddleback College is located at
28000 Marguerite Pkwy in Mission Viejo , just east of
Interstate 5 at the Avery Parkway exit. Parking
is available in Lot 12. Take Avery Parkway to
Marguerite Parkway turn left to the third traffic
light, which is Saddleback’s Marguerite entrance.
Turn right into the campus and take the third left to
“ Theatre Circle ,” turning right into Lot 12.
