I am not asking you to believe in Senator Obama’s ability to bring real change to Washington, I am asking you, did he inhale? God Bless America or God Dam America?

Barack Obama attended Trinity United Church in which the Reverend Wright spewed hateful rhetoric on an apparently regular basis. For twenty years, Wright was Obama's spiritual "mentor."

For twenty years, Senator and Mrs. Obama and their children sat in that church week after week as Wright preached, yet Obama has announced that he was unaware of Wright's anti-American, conspiracy-filled sermons, such as that infamous “…not God Bless America, God Damn America…”

Most recently, Mrs. Obama echoed the Reverend Wrights sentiments stating that this (Senator's candidacy), was the first time she felt proud of America.

The statements that Rev. Wright made that are the cause of this controversy were not statements I personally heard him preach while I sat in the pews of Trinity or heard him utter in private conversation. When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign- Senator Obama

I must admit that I have sat through a good number of boring homilies – the Reverend Wright is anything but boring, he is incendiary! – Senator Obama’s statements are reminiscent of the, “I smoked, but did not inhale..”, attributed to the former president also known as the “First African American US President”

Senator Obama’s Top Priorities (in his own words) and alleged stand on the various issues is contingent on his ability to “unite” Democrats and Republicans, White and African Americans:

Top Priorities -My top priority as president will be ending this war in Iraq, a war that should have never been authorized and never been waged

The issues -Health Care

Gay Marriage- I oppose the Federal Marriage Amendment.

Abortion, - I have been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as president

My plan builds on and improves our current insurance system, which most Americans continue to rely upon, and creates a new public health plan for those currently without coverage. Under my plan, Americans will be able to choose to maintain their current coverage if they choose to

Health Care, Social Security, Iraq, National Security, Energy, Immigration, Affirmative Action, Economy, Budget, Education, Gay Marriage, Abortion, Poverty, Gun Control, Stem Cell Research, Top Priorities
