Gott ist tot, Muhammed never existed, Happy Holidays!
Posted by: CotoBlogzz | 11/16/2008 04:00 PM God
is dead (Gott ist tot), is a widely-quoted
statement by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche,
first appearing in The
Gay Science (Die fröhliche Wissenschaft).
In The
Madman, Nietzsche’s asks what can we do for
atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Must
we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy
of it? Some argue that the new Presidential dollars’ obscuring of the motto "In God We Trust" demonstrates a plot to "phase God out of America. As “specified by Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005, the national motto was relocated, along with other common design features, to the edge of the new coins in order to allow for larger and more dramatic artwork on the coins' faces” Muhammad Sven Kalish - a Muslim convert drawn to Islam because it seamed a rational faith - and Germany’s first professor of Islamic theology, was widely seen as proof that modern Western scholarship and Islamic ways can coexist to counter the radical preachers in Germany. Professo Kalish said he subjected his Islamic studies research “to the same scrutiny as Christianity and Judaism”. Professor Kalish research led him to conclude that Muhammed never existed, and he has expressed similar doubts with respect to the Quran, Just last week, the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council members voted 4-1 in favor of permanently displaying the national motto “In God We Trust” in the Council Chamber. Council members James Thor, Jerry Holloway, Mayor Neil Blais and Mayor Pro Tempore Gary Thompson voted in support of the display. Council Member Tony Beall voted against. It
should be noted that Rancho Santa Margarita is not
blazing any trails.
Consider that in 2002, the Bakersfield City
Council voted to display the words in its City Hall
and various other Orange County communities have
approved the display of the motto in their council
chambers including Cypress, Huntington Beach, Los
Alamitos, Mission Viejo, Tustin, Westminster and Villa Park
