Senior Threat Merely a Senior Moment or A Moment
to Threaten Seniors?

Was the
restraining order against 73-year
old lady Lucienne Skogen by GRF/PCM a
reflective or contemplative action? “This
was an action that was contemplated as a result of
several threatening emails directed to PCM staff
members,” 46-year old and PCM spokesperson
Wendy Bucknum, writes in an email to Laguna
Woods residents, implying a high degree of
contemplation.
In
the article titled October
15, Day of Reckoning for LWV Threatening Emails,
published by the CotoBuzz Journal, we wrote that
"the action Ms Bucknum refers to is the one the
management company running Laguna Woods
Village took by seeking a restraining order
against Lucienne Skogen"
On Sept. 19, the court
denied the restraining order, pending a hearing
scheduled for 10 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Laguna
Hills courthouse, where we were expecting a packed
house of so-called disgruntled homeowners and Skogen
supporters - unfortunately for those looking forward
to the spectacle will be disappointed, as according to
court records, PCM requested dismissal without
prejudice earlier today.
We
asked Ms. Buknum if the idea that Ms. Skogen may be
considering a counter-suit influenced PCM's decision,
but we have not heard from PCM and or Ms. Buknum.
Although Ms. Skogen has not decided whether she will
prceed with a counter suit, she summarized the latest
action

....true
to form, PCM backed down. Case was
dismissed today. I was never served
any papers. PCM attorneys wanted me to
sign some statementbut I refused. I
was not guilty of anything and they know it.
But
I guess they know this action of theirs
backfired. They are truly embarrassed
by their action. Instead of shutting
me up, more residents are aware of their
shenanigans than ever. They didn't
want any more publicity, I guess. Many
people were ready to go to court with me
next Wednesday. Each one was ready to
testify against PCM. Must be around
100 people thus far who told me they'd be
there.
Some
of these residents want me to file a lawsuit
against PCM for harassment, etc. as
well as an anti-SLAPP lawsuit. It's
something I'm considering but haven't
decided yet.
Another
item that came to light in all this,
attorneys representing PCM, Inc. and PCM of
California, Inc are guilty of conflict of
interest. They are Hart, King &
Coldren law firm. They are the
attorneys for each of our boards. Last
year I remember Bill Hart swearing that his
firm did not represent PCM in any way, that
that would be a conflict of interest.
So what do they call this?
Just
interesting how so many things are coming to
light. Many people have given me
copies of documents relating to unlawful
acts by PCM. It's just a matter of
time before they either resign or get
convicted of fraud and serve time in the
hoosegow, in either case they would no
longer be here abusing the senior residents
of our community.

As previously noted, we
have not heard from PCM or GRF. If the Golden
Rain Foundation board members have approved PCM
actions against Ms. Skogen, why is it no one is
willing to have an open discussion on the
subject. If Ms. Skogen is a threat, why not
proceed with the action? Was the action a
reflective or contemplative action? Or was this
a senior moment, or a moment the threat seniors?
