LWV Candid Shots Posted
by Grundke,
October 9, 2008 11:30 am Following are candid shots of the ongoing hostilities between the GRF directors and disgruntles residents at the GRF meeting on Tuesday Oct. 7. Also weighing in is threatened by 73-year old lady, Gen. Mgr. Milton Johns calling resident Mike Curtis a liar. According to Mr Curtis, Mike filed a suit against PCM, GRF, United Mutual, when PCM employee and Finance Director Janet Price, contacted Mike's employer Ratheon (she called Ratheon seven times ) and accused Mike of cheating Ratheon of honest work hours because he was attending Board and committee meetings in LWV, and therefore he should be fired! Mike took them to court and won. Milt has used every opportunity at televised board meetings to lie about Mike and what really happened.
GRF
director Ken Hammer (alleged to be a PCM lackey )
publicly states that "it's a wonder they don't
come down with cancer". Mike
Curtis is being treated for cancer. Mike is also a new
United Director, he received the most votes of all the
candidates and the Residents
Voice publicly supported him. He was
two hundred votes ahead of the person who came in
second. The
following is a quote by GRF Director, Ken Hammer, at
the GRF Oct 7 Board Meeting: The Director
was discussing his conversation with several residents
while he was out walking as follows: Residents,
as quoted by Director, Ken Hammer:
"We don't want to hear anything about what's
going on. Our assessments are so low it's
pitiful to move into a place like this and have every,
ah, all of these things at our fingertips and pay such
a little amount for moving in here ..." Director,
Ken Hammer, speaking to the Board & TV6 Viewers:
"... so don't listen to everything that's
going on around you. All the turmoil by the people
that are raising these things, it's a wonder they
don't come down with cancer, I'm sorry to say that,
.... it's too much turmoil." My
thoughts; An
illustration of placing mouth in motion without having
brain in gear. If the Director would look at the
source of much of the turmoil, it falls on him and his
fellow Directors, which, according to his logic, makes
them the source of cancer in our community. ================================================================ The
following is a quote by the General Manager, Milt
Johns, at the same meeting: The
General Manager, Milt Johns: "Mr
(Mike) Curtis also likes to claim that PCM tried to
get him (Mr Curtis) fired, that's simply not
true. It's interesting the 'pot calling the kettle
black.' Mr. Curtis tries to get PCM fired all the
time, and, ah, I think he's, ah, ah, shooting in the
wrong direction." Some
more of my thoughts; Come
on Mr Johns! A PCM letter, and two phone calls (one
from the Finance Director, Janet Price) to a
resident's employer (Ratheon) had no possible
intent on getting the resident (Mr Curtis) fired? However,
a resident meeting with the Orange County Register
Management is construed as an attempt to get the Globe
Reporter and Editor fired! A
true dichotomy, or, speaking out of both sides of the
mouth. Talk about the 'pot calling the kettle black!'
I'd like to have someone from PCM explain, "What did
PCM expect from Ratheon, as a result of their letter
and phone calls?" A bonus from Ratheon to Mr
Curtis for his community service, attending Mutual
meetings during his non-working hours? ================================================================ The
following is a quote from another Director, Ray
Gros. The subject is the suit filed against United
Resident Lou Skogen. Earlier in the meeting, Mr
Mike Curtis made reference to this suit and the fact
that the suit is titled, "PCM, Inc vs Skogen."
There is no reference anywhere in the Court Order to
any of the Mutuals, including, GRF Mutual. Director,
Ray Gros, speaking to the Board and TV6 Viewers:
" ....
Mr Johns had nothing to do with the law suit,
that situation came through us. We Allowed, we said,
to please, and, the attorney is our attorney. He is
not the attorney for PCM. That keeps getting
misconstrued." This goes on,
and on, and on. What is the agenda here? Why do we
keep trying to push off PCM? Is somebody else trying
to come in here with money behind them, and is someone
else trying to run this place besides what is being
done properly? I'm sorry!
But you know, enough is enough. How much do we have to
hear PCM is the bad guy?" More
of my thoughts: What
does it take to make a director understand the
question that was asked. He admits that the attorney
filing the suit is OUR (the Mutual's attorney). The
plaintiff in the suit is PCM, Inc. Therefore, what he
is implying, is, "The GRF Mutual passed a
resolution for OUR attorney to represent a Third
Party (PCM, Inc)." There was no mention of any
use of OUR attorney to defend any of the Mutuals,
including GRF in the Court Order. If
our roofing company needs an attorney for one of their
employer/employee problems, will they look
to us to provide their legal needs? I'm
sure that we will end up using the Management
Agreement as the justification for this action. That's another
reason for renegotiating the Management
Agreement. Final
thoughts: Since
the resident, Lou Skogen, lives in United, shouldn't
any legal action have been initiated by the United
Mutual? We do this for traffic tickets. Why not for
any other possible infractions? Isn't
this so implied in the By Laws? ================================================================ .
