CZ Forecasted Elections Results Materialize
For
the last six years, the CotoBuzz Journal has correctly
forecasted the results of the CZ Master Association
board of directors elections – results of the
2008-2009 elections were no different.
The CZ Master association still relies on an
arcane form of delegate system, critics have called
corrupt, as opposed to direct popular elections
promoted in a California law passed in 2006.
Since the law passed, the CZ board has used a
number of excuses to not use direct popular elections,
from not having enough time, to being too costly to
prevent fraud, to apathy.
So,
what can residents expect from the new CZ board? More of the same: Systematic
opposition to direct elections, more subsidies and
less transparency.
