Are You Ready for Football? – TOP Football Soccer
Rancho Santa Margarita Soccer Club (RSMSC) in conjunction with
CAL SOUTH district-3 is launching for the first time
in south Orange County a TOP Soccer program - Outreach Program for the physically and mentally disabled
athlete.
Are you living your
dreams? When parents are expecting a child, they have
dreams for their unborn baby. They dream of a super
athlete, a great scholar, and a popular child who will
grow up healthy and happy. They dream of dates, high
school graduation, college, marriage and
grandchildren. When their child is born, they
incorporate their child’s dreams into their own.
So dreams change as their child grows. Sometimes dreams disappear
when they lose their child. Their dreams are gone
forever. When a child with “special needs” is born
to parents, their dreams are replaced with the reality
that their child will have to struggle with health,
school and acceptance.
These parents create new dreams. TOP Soccer is part of that
dream. TOP Soccer, the Outreach Program for the
physically and mentally disabled athlete provides a
safe and fun environment for their child to
participate in organized sports. These athletes
compete with athletes of similar abilities.
The TOP Soccer program has been available to these athletes
in Junior United Soccer Association since 1992.
Programs have been started in the city of Orange, Long
Beach, Carlsbad, Yucaipa and now in Rancho Santa
Margarita. The dream where every child who wants to
play can compete at his/her own level with players of
similar abilities.
TOP philosophy is:

Provide a safe environment for the players
·
Provide a fun place to play
·
Play soccer.
The season starts this fall with practice once a week and
games on Saturday or Sundays. And we continue to
dream........... The cost is $50.00 for the season and
includes uniform, ball, and a trophy at the end of the
year.
Parents are required to purchase shin guards for their player. More
