Political Assassination Foiled By Residents
LWV 3rd Mutual besmirch meeting to overthrow board president fails - this time!

The scheduled “assassination meeting’ last
night was indeed public and featured over 2 hours of
public comment. Stan Feldstein is still standing
as President of the Board- in part due to an overflow
crowd, necessitating opening another room and using
closed circuit camera coverage. The attendance for the
most part was outraged
by what is characterized as “crass and clumsy
attempt to unseat him.
The target of the besmirch
political assassination, Feldstein started off by
reading a prepared statement arguing the illegality of
the meeting. Feldstein then declined to
participate in the meeting and VP Carol Moore (who cut
short her vacation when she heard of the purpose of
this alleged meeting) took possession of the lares and penates of a board
meeting-not-a-board-meeting”, termed instead an open
forum.
As Ms Moore called for open comments from the public,
residents of both 3rd and United Mutual spoke for
hours. Eventually they adjourned without
formally opening a board meeting— Such skullduggery allows the agent to avoid
having to broadcast the meeting.
However, several residents came prepared and
tape the meeting themselves.
Meanwhile what board critics call “the Village Gestapo” patrolled the halls with minatory appearance, mulctually wearing their nightsticks, just in case the native senior residents became bellicose!
Board
president Stan Feldstein has not responded to requests for comment.
“The biggest loser of the process was probably newly
elected board member Cynthia Conners who rode to the
board on a reform ticket and has now lost all
credibility, having sided with the dissidents”, said
a resident attending the meeting.
“The others who were trying to participate in
this coup had little credibility to lose; but the
public made it clear that these board members just did
not understand what the recent election was saying”,
he continued.
Several residents made statements in support of Mr.
Feldstein asserting that he was the "first
director who actually lived up to his campaign
promises and was doing the job he was elected to do”
From the discussion, it became transpicuous
that Director Isabel Munichow believes
that anything agent Milt Johns says is a legal
opinion, although the information we have is that Mr.
Johns is not an attorney.
