Dangerous Coto de Caza Roads and Intersections Dangerous Coto de Caza Intersections As a Function of Demographics
The changing Coto de Caza demographics have had a major
impact on the collision pattern as shown below. Whereas for the period from 2000 through November 2004, 75%
of the collisions in the community involved three
roads, current collision distribution spreads out over
eight. Similarly, to arrive at the most dangerous intersections in
the community, we took the CHP Collision Listing from
2000 through August 2007 and analyzed a total of 116
collisions. The
reported accidents did not necessarily take place at
the intersection, hence the label “Nearest
Cross Street” Top 10 most dangerous Coto de Caza intersections Most Dangerous Coto de Caza Intersections - All Top 10 most dangerous Coto de Caza Roads Top 20 most dangerous Coto de Caza Roads Most Dangerous Roads Coto- (2000-11-2004) Most Dangerous Coto de Caza Blind Alleys

Into a City - Overview Orange County Crime Down, Nation's Crime Up - While the FBI is expected to report a 1.3 percent rise in violent crime nationwide in 2006 — an increase for the second straight year, Sheriff Michael Carona today announced that criminal homicide, forcible rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny-theft and motor vehicle theft decreased by 3.7% in jurisdictions served by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department in 2006. “This is great news for Orange County. Violent crimes decreased by 7.72% and property crimes decreased by 3.76% as compared to 2005. The men and women of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, in partnership with our residents, community leaders, and business owners, continue to make law enforcement a top priority. We are, once again, one of the safest communities in the nation,” said Sheriff Carona. Coto
