Center: The Entrepreneurial Resource Center (ERC) offers counseling and training for individuals seeking to start a business through an eight week intensive business plan writing course requiring students to complete a business plan that will lead to the creation of a viable business in the community. Each class consists of 25-35 students and is offered six times a year. In addition, a five week session on e-commerce is available three times a year for those students planning to sell on the Web. Data from the first twelve classes demonstrates that 42% of all graduates have started a revenue generating business within one year after completing the program.

Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership's 1999 Entrepreneurship Center Director's Conference
